Sales conversations don’t happen in isolation, but for a long time, sales calls lived outside the systems meant to track them. That gap creates extra work. Notes get written later. Activity goes unlogged. Pipelines reflect best guesses instead of real conversations.

Sales and marketing conversations should not live outside the system meant to track those types of activities. That’s why we’re excited to introduce outbound calling directly inside GlassHive via our VoIP feature. With VoIP built into the platform, calling becomes part of the workflow. Open a contact, make the call, take notes as you talk, and keep moving without switching tools or backfilling activity later. Everything stays connected, from campaigns and leads to notes, activity, and pipeline.

This update isn’t about adding another feature. It’s about making the work you already do easier to track, easier to manage, and easier to turn into momentum.

This release marks the first step in bringing VoIP fully into GlassHive, with more enhancements on the roadmap for 2026.

Why Outbound Calling Inside GlassHive Matters

Every time a conversation happens outside your CRM, important context gets lost.

Calls turn into sticky notes. Notes live in the margins of scattered papers. Follow-up gets delayed. Activity goes untracked.

Outbound calling inside GlassHive keeps everything connected:

  • Calls happen where your contacts already live

  • Notes stay tied to the conversation and contact's activity

  • Activity is logged automatically

  • Follow-up becomes easier and more consistent

It is a simpler way to turn real conversations into measurable activity.

How to Set Up VoIP in GlassHive

Before making your first call, you’ll want to add a phone number to your account.

  1. Go to your Profile in GlassHive

  2. Click on Phone Numbers

  3. Add one or more numbers to your account

When you register a number with GlassHive, it stays connected to your existing carrier. There’s no need to change providers or disrupt your current setup.

How to Make a VoIP Outbound Call

Making a call is quick and intuitive.

  1. Open any Contact in GlassHive

  2. Look for the "Make a Call" button in the top right of the contact card

  3. Click it to start your call directly from the platform

No copying and pasting phone numbers. No switching tools. Just click and call.

What Happens During a Call

Once the call begins, a call window appears on your screen. From this window, you can:

  • Mute yourself

  • Access the dialer

  • Take notes in real time

You can also minimize the call window and continue navigating through GlassHive without interrupting the call. Your conversation stays active while you keep working.

After the Call Ends

When the call is complete, you can:

  • Edit or clean up your notes

  • Assign the appropriate call status like "Call Answered" or "Left Voicemail"

There’s no need to manually log anything. GlassHive automatically records the call as a contact activity, keeping your timeline of activities accurate and up to date. That means better visibility into engagement, clearer reporting, and less administrative work.

Built for What Comes Next
